Let’s admit it, one thing we all want to be known for on social media is our presence. No matter the niche you may identify yourself into, it’s common for all of us relate to the desire to feel original. While it is important to seek out that creative inspiration from other influencers, there is a way for you to stand out on social media and match your feed to your personality.
In the past few months, I spent a lot of time planning out my content and thinking about how to make my feed match more to who I am and the content I want to create. There are a few steps I decided to go about doing this:
First, I started to save inspiration to my phone.
I got onto Pinterest and Instagram and found what vibes, styles and color schemes I loved the most and that reflected to who I am, and then saved the photos into a board so that I could visit it later.
Second, I started to create content that reflected who I am and what my passions were.
I made sure every photo I uploaded had my own personal twist on it and people really started to notice. It is always super exciting to hear from people about how they love your work! However, one piece of advice is that investing in a high quality camera can really make a big difference in how your photos turn out. Remember, never stop learning. Constantly invest your time in watching videos, reading books and collaborating with other creatives to improve your skills.

My mood when I bought this cute swimsuit cover up from @acmecolumbia! They are so great to work with and I can print ANYTHING so cheap 😍 #summeready #notanad . So….I have been working on a “secret project” this morning. It’s a HUGE step for me to step out of my comfort zone like this and share with you all this part of me because it holds a lot of insecurities. But I am looking forward to sharing this with you all! So stay tuned! ♥️ . #styleblogger #thatsdarling #fashionable #styleinspiration #fashiondiaries #darlingweekend #instagramfashion #fashionstyle #tumblr #theeverydaygirl #chasinglife #travelgirl #lifestyle #lifestylephotography #missouriphotographer #missourimodel #lifestyleblogger #streetstyle #streetphotographers #blogging4style #bloggerstyle #bloggerpresets #bloggerlife
Third, I created presets so that all of my photos on my feed matched and “flowed” together well.
I found inspiration from those pictures I saved earlier and I searched for presets online to buy from other influencers who I admired that had similar color schemes that I wanted. Once I bought the presets, I applied them to my photos in Adobe Lightroom and tweaked them to fit the lighting in the photo and my own personal style. Some presets made by a lot of bloggers/influencers can get a bit expensive, but lucky for you all I have a free download of my own personal preset for you to use on your photos!
If you are interested in the preset it is linked in this week’s All You Can Edit email! Just remember to tag me at #KassidyxAYCE!
I hope you all enjoyed and a special thanks to Ceara from All You Can Edit for letting me share my thoughts, tips and tricks with you all!
